JUMP TO: [FREELANCE], [DMA], [PHOTOS: COMING SOON]

#1 Issha Marie Photography [.com]: Issha approached me and requested a very minimalistic site design. She wants the focus to be on her pictures, which is understandable. Since her main target audience include future clientele, Issha's photography is presented readily and easily for the visitor to view right away.

The navigation is simple and structured. An accordion style dropdown ensures organization.

Images and content were provided to me, and I processed them into the site. The coding is basic HTML, Flash, CSS, and Javascript.

*Some aspects of her site has yet to be updated as per Issha's instructions. I continue to maintain her site.

#2 The Tea Emporium [.com]: The Tea Emporium is owned by Shabnam and Frank Weber. I worked for them in retail for a while and was given the opportunity to test my coding and design skills when they learned I was entering the DMA program.

This site integrates basic HTML, CSS, PHP, and E-commerce. I designed the concept of the site and the pages therein, which is all currently online now. Images and content were provided to me, and I tweaked some images.

I also handled the basic coding aside from the PHP and e-commerce aspect. Someone else was hired to take care of that since I had little knowledge of it.

They asked for an interchangeable background, which they could take care of themselves. This was made possible. The layout was created so that the owners can maintain the site themselves.

#1 'Thinking With Type' Kinetic Typography: (FLASH) Keeping to the elements of Typography and using Adobe Flash as the canvas for this project, I had to create dynamic type using the words provided to me. Sound is non-existent and colour is minimal as per instructions from Daria (Typography prof).

#2 Skate Deck Design v1.1: (ILLUSTRATOR + PHOTOSHOP) This was quite the fun project from first semester. It gave me great practice on creating vector images while mixing it with raster images. This skate deck was the 2nd of a two-part project. The first was to create a microscopic creature. We then had to take our creature and tie it into the design of our Skate Deck. My "creature" looks more like a harmless little caterpillar.

#3 Asics Ad Concept: (PHOTOGRAPHY + PHOTOSHOP) A photo of my Asics Gel Cumulus 9 shoes from Photography class was integrated into an Ad condept. I couldn't find a model runner on time, otherwise my original idea would have worked better with the slogan I concocted. Nonetheless, I managed to find a way in which the shoes work somewhat with the slogan.

#4 Asics Site Design Concept (Light Version): (PHOTOSHOP) This is a site design concept for one of my favourite running shoe brands. For the second part of this project, my instructor suggested to invert the colours. The inverted version is available to view [HERE].

#5 EROS Site Design Concept: (PHOTOSHOP + ILLUSTRATOR) This is a site design concept for a make-shift tea and coffee company. I was required to create a logo concept as well as a mock-up front page for the client. Specific details that I had to keep in mind include giving the site a grecian, garden-like, airy, and mythical feel. Also, they want visitors to know that they serve both tea and coffee, and that they sell a variety of organic products, as well as trendy merchandise.

#6 BMW Z4 Roadster Site Design Concept: (PHOTOSHOP) This is a site design concept for BMW's Z4 Roadster vehicle. I tried to create a design where the user can easily navigate through BMW Z4's design features.

#7 Tyler Dadson Logo Concepts: (ILLUSTRATOR) Logo concepts for a make-shift clothing company called "Tyler Dadson". Anything goes. [VIEW SITE MOCKUP WITH CHOSEN LOGO]
