        The Beautiful Disaster series illustrate all that I have kept locked inside me for so long. The work is not meant to compartmentalize each of the complex emotions that I go through whenever I deal with his memory. Instead, I have allowed myself to finally bridge that gap between my self and my audience through my conscious decision to direct each of my chosen models behind the camera. There are no secrets this time – this is my trauma realized. Each panel is a visual representation of my two-year relationship with Kubler-Ross, and that paralyzing, all-too-familiar melancholia we submit ourselves to every time our hearts get shattered seemingly beyond repair.
